Open House at Enji-minozhilyaamigak: The Place of Peacefulness Nature Preserve, 11:30 am – 3 pm. Located in Bayshore off of Townline Road at 6413 Division Avenue, Charlevoix. For decades, the forest and shoreline now known as Enji-minozhiiyaamigak remained one of the last undeveloped stretches of Little Traverse Bay, and beyond — from Charlevoix to the Mackinac Bridge. Little Traverse Conservancy acquired the property in 2023and developed an accessible trail that meanders to a lake overlook platform at the beach. Join LTC to explore the newly completed trail at Enji-minozhiiyaamigak: The Place of Peacefulness Nature Preserve, at our winter open house. This property and universally accessible trail are a huge success for LTC, and we want to share that with you! Enjoy a warm drink, cozy soup, bread, and a beautiful walk down to Lake Michigan.
