Pressed Flower Workshop

Location: Charlevoix Conservation District Community Room at 303 North Street in Boyne City

To register for the $55 class click here.

Learn about how to press flowers and which ones work best for craft projects. We’ll discuss different types of frames, papers, and adhesives. Our project for this class will be a floral design on 8.5 x 11" parchment paper finished with a plain black frame.* Ferns and pansies will be the primary foliage and flowers, with an assortment of additional accent flowers for you to choose from. No two designs will be the same and all are beautiful! Use your floral masterpiece to decorate your home or give it as a gift to someone special. All supplies and materials are provided. However, if you would like to use a hanging glass frame (see photo at registration site) instead of the design on paper as shown, please let me know in advance when you register so I can bring the supplies you will need. If you need to reach me (Monica) in advance with any questions, email me at grulergardens@gmail.com *OPTION B: If you would prefer to create your design on a hanging glass frame instead of in the larger 8.5 x 11" frame, please let me know when you submit your registration online. Please be aware that hanging frames will vary by size, shape, and metal frame color. This class is designed for adults and will be held in the Charlevoix Conservation District Community Room at 303 North Street in Boyne City. Because of space limitations, the class is restricted to enrolled participants only. Space is limited and advance registration is required, so sign up now to reserve your spot!
