Join Little Traverse Conservancy staff member, Amy Lipson & Joe Lipson, owner of Mycotorphy LLC (local business offering guided mushrooming adventures) at the Hoogland Nature Preserve. Amy & Joe will co-lead a FREE foraging adventure to look for interesting fungi, and maybe even find some choice edibles! Fungi are fickle, but if there are plentiful mushrooms available we will split into groups and explore off-trail for about 1.5 hours and hunt for interesting mushrooms. Then we will return to our designated meeting place and learn about them from Joe, who is a certified mushroom identification expert.

At the base of the big hill you have just descended, you will turn a reasonably sharp corner to the right, and the parking area will soon appear on the right. Look for a small parking area and logo sign.
